Tim got the flu the week of Indipendance Day. He was feeling so miserable! Because Tiffany was leaving to Iraq just a few days later he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could. So, even though he wasn't feeling well we all went to my in-laws for the 4th. Tim just had to be careful not to cough on people.
When Veronica was only about 2 years old I gave her 3 ponytails and spiked them with blue gell, trying to give the effect of fireworks for July 4th... ever since then she thinks this is a normal thing to do on the 4th of july, and often wants her hair done in some crazy way. I still had some red & blue gell left over from Halloween... too bad I didn't have white... anyway, we had fun with it and the kids were extra patriotic with their crazy hair. hehe
We had fun, especially the kids, watching fireworks, etc. I'm so glad we got to hang out with Tiff before she had to go too! Praying for her safety!
